A Realization and A Reminder

Thing is, I wanted to have a website for all my codes.

This was the gameplan:

I wanted to make a website that is filled with guides that follows ESR‘s “How to Become a Hacker“. Start with web design tools – HTML, CSS, JavScript, PHP, etc. Then, move on with the programming languages – Python, Perl, LISP, etc. The main reason would be: while I am learning the languages, I am able to keep and improve my web design skills.

But I remembered something… I am just a newb. I am in no position or in no authority to author any form of guide. (I know, redundant, right?) Or so, I think. And I don’t wanna go on copying and pasting stuff from other websites.

So, I’ve decided, even if it’s not according to plan, to make the blog before everything else. The blog would’ve been a subdomain of the website but since I am not doing the website anymore, I’ma make it here in WordPress.

Though, it ain’t like I am giving up on the site. Nope. That is way far from reality. I am still gon develop the site. I just ain’t gon launch it to the world. Yet.

I know when I can be able to do so. I know when I will have the authority. I know how I can deserve the title. But I am not gon rush anything. I respect the art of the code.

Therefore, I’ma post here all codes I made and will ever make. Well, all the ones which are accessible to me. I kinda lost another external hard drive case rendering my external hard drive not usable. Minor setback. I can be able to post ’em when I get to have a replacement enclosure.

Given that, you know what to expect of this blog. Or, maybe, I just wanted an excuse to use the new WordPress theme called “Motion” because it just looks so awesome cool? ;)

Well, the theme is a deciding factor. WordPress was running out of themes I can want to use. But the arrival of this new theme is just timely.

I give props to WordPress for adding this theme to their database of classy themes.

Note: This post will tell you that it was published February 15, 2008. That’s not really the case as you will be able to tell from the posts that will follow. I just changed the date of publishing to make sure this will be dated as the very first post as I will be using the date of finishing the code as the publishing date for the codes.

This post should be dated: February 15, 2010.

I know I did a lot of codes before today.
